The Desert Camp Community Center is an impressive facility located within DC Ranch for residents of the community. It has a wide variety of amenities for all ages and is open year round.
It’s an 8,000 square foot facility located on a total of 9 acres at the southeast corner of Thompson Peak and Pima, across from the West Gate of the Country Club.
For little ones, the Desert Camp Community Center has a small wading pool that is heated in the winter to 84 degrees. There is also an “adventure playground” for the little ones to explore and climb.

For all residents, the community center offers volleyball and basketball courts, 2 lighted tennis courts, a large recreation and lap pool and a fitness room with cardio and weight machines.
The pool is heated in the winter to 84 degrees. The pool hours are from 6:00 to 10:00pm in the summer (April to October) and from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm in the winter (November to March.)
Lockers and showers are available in the men’s and women’s locker rooms. They are open from 5:00am to 10:00pm.
The community center also offers indoor and outdoor event facilities that are available for rent for weddings, private parties, meetings and special events.
