Last year, members of The Country Club at DC Ranch approved a $4M renovation project that included golf course improvements and clubhouse expansion and renovations, which began May 1. We have been monitoring the progress all summer in this blog, and are excited to announce that we are just one-month away from the November 7th opening day party.

The clubhouse’s exterior expansion and renovation is taking place at the south and east sides of the building, and already it’s difficult to remember what it originally looked like. The patio off of the Horse Bar has been noted by members to be smaller than anticipated, and will be extended after the renovation is complete.
Interior work is well underway everywhere on the main floor of the clubhouse, except for the Boardroom and the phone booth. The fireplace in the old living room has been resurfaced, the Conservatory has undergone tremendous changes, the new Horse Bar is framed, a new wine room with is installed, and the dramatic horse mosaic in the mixed grill is near completion.
The renovations are expected to be completed on-time, by November 7, 2014 and within the $4M budget. Approved tennis facility improvements are scheduled to begin this fall.
