Groundbreaking is nearing for the new Odysea Aquarium in Scottsdale, to be located just 10 minutes from DC Ranch. The aquarium is part of a larger development called Odysea in the Desert, which will include:
- a Butterfly Museum (already open)
- an IMAX Theatre
- a Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum
- an Arizona Experience, a Magiquest (TM) and
- shopping and restaurants.
Odysea Aquarium coming to Scottsdale
Odysea in the Desert is located west of the Loop 101 Freeway at the Via de Ventura exit in Scottsdale, on 38 acres.
Desert Dive for Treasure at Odysea through July 13th
In preparation for the ground breaking, Odysea is offering 28 of its sought-after Lifetime and Annual Memberships for free through an epic Desert Dive for Treasure. The dive is especially designed for those with a brain for puzzles and a quest for adventure.
Launched on Monday, June 16, this challenging 28-day and 28-prize mission sends Indiana Jones wannabes throughout the Phoenix area, identifying landmarks and deciphering clues to lead to their prize.
Daily clues and information are posted on the website and in contest rules, conveyed via text messaging, email and social media, and mentioned on the KEZ 99.9 and MIX 96.9 radio stations.
