Tom Kaufman, owner and operator of The Living Room, a wine bar and restaurant concept that he started in Chandler, is opening a new location this Friday, October 3rd in DC Ranch’s Market Street in Scottsdale. The Living Room’s location is a premier spot on Market Street, the space formerly occupied by Armitage Bistro, which closed earlier this year.
Tom comes from a long history of restaurant success in the Valley: he was the original co-owner of Rancho Pinot Grill, and currently owns the Humble Pie pizza and wine restaurant chain with 6 Valley locations, in addition to 2 locations in Terminal 4 at Sky Harbor Airport.

The Living Room opens in DC Ranch Market Street this Friday
The Living Room’s wine, sangria and spirit selections are an eclectic and extensive world-wide mixture that suits the tastes of enthusiasts as well as those who are developing their palettes. Their menu features spectacular cheese boards with olives, special seasonal salads, bruschetta flat bread pizzas of all kinds and a variety of sliders.
Kaufman has brought in Paul Steele as his executive chef. Paul’s previous restaurant experiences include Fox Concepts, Tarbell, T. Cook and The Silverleaf Club.
If you spending time reading some of Kaufman’s blogs you’ll see he’s an avid wine and food guru. He provides his patrons with lots of tips and tricks on the best wines at the most reasonable prices.
The Matheson Team is thrilled to have a comfortable and hip location right around the corner for lunch, dinner, or just a cozy cocktail. The Living Room’s hours are Monday through Thursday, 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 am, and Sundays from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.
