Rick Bronson, an award-winning comedian and Canadian snowbird, fell in love with Scottsdale’s vacation-like atmosphere enough to buy a second home here. But Scottsdale’s apparent lack of comedy clubs was no laughing matter to Bronson, so he took it upon himself to solve the issue and open a new branch of his comedy club empire in Phoenix.

House of Comedy comedians, in addition to having bantered with great and famous late-night television hosts like Jay Leno, David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel have also been featured on The Daily Show, Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing and HBO. So get ready to eat, drink, and burn off those calories by “lol”ing uncontrollably at the hilarious shows.
The House of Comedy is open Tuesday-Sunday, with special shows on Fridays and Saturdays. Upcoming September highlights include sketches from Harland Williams, Sam Tripoli and Collin Moulton.
