Just around the corner from DC Ranch, the Westin Kierland has weekly summer camps for kids, ages 8-13. The week-long camps, start at $450 per child and run consecutively through July 28. Hours are 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Flowrider Surf Camp at the Westin Kierland resort
Flowrider Surf Camp
The Surf Camp teaches kids ages 8 – 13 (must be at least 52″ tall) bodyboarding, flowboarding and the latest tricks. Junior surfers enjoy related activities, games, crafts and flowga (flowboard yoga).
The week ends with a Surf Show for parents to watch the surfers perform new FlowRider skills and tricks.
Digital Kids Camp
The Digital Kids Club for 8-13 year olds is designed to help aspiring movie directors, news anchors and young artists develop their skills. It includes capturing footage, experimenting with special effects and reporting and developing animation design skills.
Kids make their own creation with video and digital photographs and have a DVD to take home as a souvenir and memory of their fun-filled week.
