If you haven’t taken your family to see Santa yet, there are plenty of opportunities for you in Scottsdale. In fact, Santa will be nearby nearly every weekend throughout December. Check out where you can go for Santa sightings minutes from DC Ranch.
Topgolf
On Saturday, December 17, from 9 am to 11 am, Santa Claus will be at Topgolf. Bring the kids so they can enjoy hot cocoa and cookies at this Scottsdale holiday event. They can also get their picture taken with Santa for free, after which they’ll get a complimentary gift.
Kierland Commons
If you’re looking for the typical mall experience when it comes to photos with Santa, you’ll find it not far from your DC Ranch home. That’s because Santa will be at the Kierland Commons shopping center until December 24. You can expect to see Santa every day until Christmas Eve. Check out the Kierland Commons website to see the full schedule and make the optional reservations for pictures.
Scottsdale Fashion Square
If you drive about a half hour south of DC Ranch, you can get to Scottsdale Fashion Square mall, where Santa is waiting to take pictures with local children any day of the week until December 16. After that, he’ll be there weekends only, up to December 24. You can see the full schedule and make reservations online at the mall’s website.
McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park
As a Scottsdale resident, you might already know about the many neat features of McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, which children often simply call the train park. But did you know that it gets even more fun during the holidays? From December 9 to January 1, this park is decked out with Christmas lights galore.
Take the train ride through the park to get the best view of the lights here. The kids will be amazed. You can also buy hot chocolate and snacks, ride the carousel, or visit with Santa, who will be there every night through December 23. Pictures with Santa are $5.
