DC Ranch residents have one of the biggest and most lavish Fourth of July events right in their own backyard. So grab the kids, strollers, lawn chairs and head to WestWorld’s, 4th of July celebration where it’s guaranteed you will be red, white and cool! Yep, summer temperatures are climbing, so why not hangout in a 300,000 square foot air-conditioned space!
Sure you have to head outside at 9:00 p.m. to view the fabulous fireworks show but we promise you will be just steps away from the North Hall entrance if you want to head back in for some cool air.
There is so much to do for kids of all ages! For the adult cowboys in the family, The Dirty Money Cattle Company hosts the Bull Riding Rodeo. For kiddos who weigh less than 45 pounds, they’ll experience the ride of their life in the Mutton Busting corral.
Another favorite family show that you might have seen on Oprah, Ellen, NatGeo Wild, Queen Latifah or Animal Planet is the The Chris Perondi’s Stunt Dog ExperienceTM. These famous shelter dogs that have made their way to world-wide stardom have wowed millions with tricks and dare-devil stunts!
There is a petting zoo, pony rides, game trucks and the Presentation of Colors by the Scottsdale PD Mounted Unit. The more adventurous won’t want to miss the Stunt Masters BMX Show where everyone gets down and dirty. Admission also includes meet-and-greets with Moana, Belle, Spiderman, & Wonder Woman for everyone. And who wouldn’t want to touch Wonder Woman’s bullet deflecting wrist cuffs and truth lasso?
Doors open at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4th and general admission includes entrance to WestWorld, fireworks & the free zone activities. Cost is $12, but Scottsdale residents who book online receive a 50% discount. General admission for 5 and under is FREE.
An additional charge for a wristband for the Kid Zone is $20 for the first wristband purchased for ages 6 and up and the price drops to$10 for additional members of the household. Kids 5 and under only pay $5 for entrance into the Kid Zone.
If you want to go all out there are VIP tickets for $25 adults and $15 kids that includes all day access to the food station that is serving Vienna Beef hot dogs, burgs, salads, water, ice tea and lemonade. Of course, July 4th wouldn’t be complete without apple pie a la mode and seed spitting pink watermelon! Your VIP access also entitles you to reserved seating for the rodeo, face painting and free cornhole games for the entire family.
If you don’t want to spend the full afternoon and evening at all the activities wait until 7:00 p.m. and round up the kids to head down for fireworks in the Polo Field viewing area for just $20 a car load.
Tickets at the door cost more so make sure to go online and reserve your spot early!
