Weekly Events at The Country Club at DC Ranch in July
Every Sunday in July at The Country Club at DC Ranch, it’s time for Sunday brunch, junior golf clinics and Italian night. Thursdays are burger nights, and Friday (the 27th only) is the monthly fish fry. On each Saturday, join in cardio tennis or stop by for prime rib night.

The U.S. Amateur Qualifier is taking place at DC Ranch on July 24 and 25. It’s open to any competitor with a Handicap Index® of 2.4 or lower. You can learn more about the event here or apply to play here.

July 10
Cooking Class: Taste of Summer
Held at the Homestead Community Center, this cooking class is definitely hands-on. You’ll make a healthy meal of curried watermelon salad, flank steak with chimichurri sauce, roasted sweet potateoes with jalapenos, seasonal vegetables and chocolate mousse with berries.
July 14
Comedy Night at The Homestead: Cory McCloskey (Emcee) and Ron Morey
Comedy Night at the Homestead Community Center begins at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30). Ron Morey was nominated one of the top five comics in the country by The Entertainment Business Journal, and he’s an accomplished USO performer who’s been featured on PBS, A&E and more. Tickets are $20 each.
July 15
Workshops for Youth and Families: Pathfinder
Kids aged 9 to 12 will work with The Workshop’s staff team on developmental techniques involving building friendships, communicating well with peers and family, and assimilating into new groups and situations. It’s $175 for residents and $350 for non-residents.
July 22
Workshops for Youth and Families: The Journey
Kids aged 15 to 19 are welcome to join Workshops for Youth and Families: The Journey. Dr. Franny teaches leadership skills and enhances kids’ emotional and social intelligence. Residents pay $187.50 and non-residents pay $375.
