Now that the weather in Scottsdale is near perfect, it’s time to take advantage of it by relaxing outside whenever possible. Thanks to some local restaurants with great patios, you can easily do this with a drink in your hand and tasty food in front of you. So if you’re ready to really enjoy this cooler weather, check out which restaurants you should keep in mind this fall.
1.Olive and Ivy
This South Scottsdale restaurant is known for its spacious, beautiful patio and a menu that includes pasta, flatbreads, bruschetta, fish, and more. The tables sit beneath a forest of trees that provide shade while you look out at the canal, giving this Scottsdale patio a European feel without requiring you to travel more than a half hour from DC Ranch! Once you’re done with dinner at Olive and Ivy, you can move to the other side of the patio, where there are several comfortable couches surrounding fire pits. This is the perfect place to warm your hands in the evening as you enjoy a drink from the outdoor bar this fall.
2.Old Town Tortilla Factory
This is another restaurant with a great patio, Old Town Tortilla Factory is perfect for those nights when you want to enjoy some delicious Mexican food under the stars. The menu includes the typical chips and salsa, tortilla soup, and nachos, along with specialties like red chile pork chops and southwestern filet mignon. The large patio and shady pecan trees make it easy for you to take in the cooler weather while you dine.
3.Talavera
If you head north from DC Ranch by about 20 minutes, you’ll get to Talavera at the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North. This steakhouse offers a southwestern twist on steak and seafood, along with a great wine selection. When you eat on the patio, you’ll get breathtaking views of the surrounding desert and Pinnacle Peak. You can even warm up by the outdoor fire pit on those chilly fall nights.
4.Palo Verde
Just a few minutes north of the Four Seasons Resort is the Boulders Resort and Spa, which features Palo Verde restaurant. This is another eatery with southwestern food and an amazing view from the patio. More specifically, the patio here has a great view of both the Sonoran Desert and the 6th fairway of the golf course, which features lots of shade trees and a pond.
5.Café Monarch
If you’re looking for a romantic, candlelit cafe where you can enjoy the food, company, and the beautiful fall weather, Café Monarch is it. When you look around the courtyard, you’ll notice that the walls are covered in vines, and when you look up, you’ll see nothing but green trees and gorgeous skies. This café has a 4-course prix fixe menu that changes every week, but the stunning scenery is always the same when you sit in the courtyard.
As you can see, you don’t have to venture far from DC Ranch to take in this amazing fall weather as you dine on the patio. And of course, fall is also a great time to buy a Scottsdale home! Use the form below to contact The Matheson Team if you’re ready to start looking at homes for sale.
