The Stone House in Silverleaf wears a number of hats — on any given day, the facility is a restaurant, a private event space or a “rehydration station” for golfers who like to brave the summer heat. The facility is open to members of Silverleaf Club only.
Located between holes 10 and 11, golfers make a stop at The Stone House to order refreshments and food, use restrooms and take a brief respite from the sun.
Residents of the community who are also members of Silverleaf Club like to stop by on a regular basis for a quick bite to eat. It’s conveniently located up the hill from the Windgate Pass Gate, just before you reach the entrance to the Upper Canyon.

The building’s faded teal window frames are offset by vibrant potted planters, and the quiet trickle of The Stone House’s courtyard fountain filters out unwanted traffic noise, so the area feels completely immersed in the surrounding desert.
Past The Stone House’s main door is a dining area with a stone fireplace and wrought-iron chandelier, and double doors that extend out to a second outdoor eating space. So if you’d really like to take in the ambiance of Silverleaf, The Stone House is a great place to grab a drink, meet friends and pass the time.
Nestled just off the 10th green and surrounded by golf, desert and mountain vistas, its location is perfect to showcase Silverleaf’s stunning views and “Rural Mediterranean” architecture.
In terms of design, The House features antique clay roof tiles, exposed timbers and exposed stone walls. OZ Architects Inc., the design firm behind the project, likens the structure “to a rural farm building, with a tall central form and smaller shed-roofed forms…that appear to have been added over time”.
If you’re a Silverleaf member and haven’t checked out The Stone House, make sure that you do. It’s worth the visit.
