Since 1975, America’s original Art Walk takes place every Thursday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm (except Thanksgiving) on the streets of Old Town Scottsdale. The event is always free.
It’s like an open-house for art galleries. Walk the streets at your own pace, take in the sights and sounds, stop for a bite to eat at one of many great restaurants in the area, take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage. It’s fun for the whole family.

Frequently throughout the year there are also “special event ” ArtWalks.
The next special event Art Walk is “The Summer Spectacular” on Thursday, July 10th. ArtWalkers can “chill out” as they stroll along Main Street and Marshall Way where the fine art galleries will be busy with artist demonstrations, exhibit openings and special receptions.
The Scottsdale Arts District is just west of Scottsdale Road along Main Street and on Marshall Way north of Indian School Road to Fifth Avenue. There’s plenty of nearby free parking, free trolley rides, great people watching and easy walking access to many fine Scottsdale restaurants
