Super Chunk and Treats in Old Town Scottsdale
Husband/wife owners, Country and Sergio Velador, fell in love with not only each other, but with each other’s passion to create. This mix was the synergy needed to create the absolutely most unique and tantalizing baked goods, confections and ice cream found in Scottsdale. Everything they make is from scratch with their very own recipes!
This year, ditch the stop at Godiva – they are charging $9.50 for one large chocolate covered strawberry at Fashion Square Mall – and head into Super Chunk Sweets & Treats where the prices are quite reasonable and your options many!
It’s amazing what true love combined with passion can create – blue cheese and fig caramels, duck fat toffee, or if you are a popcorn fan, there are 6 scrumptious options to pick from with chocolate bacon caramel corn one of their patrons’ favorites. Huh, duck fat? The combination of flavors sounds a little startling but indeed they are totally delish!
Valentine’s Day Special!
Only offered on Valentine’s Day are their miniature cakes (about 3 inches) at the very reasonable price of $5-6 , with flavors such as Aphrodisiac made with black cocoa cake, pomegranate and white chocolate mousse and rum soaked figs or the Passion Fruit Lemon Cake or the Coffee Toffee Cake made with butterscotch pudding and coffee toffee crumbs.
Each day there is something new for the customers, but you can count on their signature, Coffee Toffee, to be available most days.
