If you want to spend New Year’s Eve in Scottsdale but don’t want to stay home, you can attend one of the many local events. That’s because a few of the most popular Scottsdale resorts, hotels and clubs are hosting big parties this year so you can welcome 2017 in style.
W Scottsdale Hotel
If you want glitz and glamor on New Year’s Eve, plan on attending Shimmer at W Scottsdale Hotel. You can relax with a drink in hand in the Living Room Lounge, or take in the cool winter weather on the WET Pool Deck. Then enjoy live entertainment, music played by a DJ, and cocktails from 8 pm to 2 am, with fireworks at midnight.
The cost for this Scottsdale New Year’s Eve event is $50 for women and $75 for men. You can go to the W Scottsdale Hotel’s website or call (480) 970-2100 to find out more.
Talking Stick Resort
This Scottsdale resort is hosting two different New Year’s Eve gatherings. One is called the NYE³ Party, which will consist of three rooms of music and dancing. This means you can expect several DJs and bands to be playing music throughout the night. If you get there early at 7 pm and pay $150 per person, your ticket will include dinner. Otherwise, you can enjoy the party only for $125 each. You can buy your tickets here.
The other New Year’s Eve gathering at Talking Stick Resort is Raven’s Annual New Year’s Eve Gala. It’s called All That Glitters, and it will feature music from bands and DJs, plus party favors. There will be two bars to get drinks at all night, with a free champagne toast when the clock strikes 12. This black-tie affair starts at 8 pm and costs $50 per person, or $75 each if you want access to the appetizer buffet. You can buy your ticket to the gala here.
The Saguaro Scottsdale Hotel
If you want to listen to great music all night, head to the Saguaro Scottsdale Hotel for its annual New Year’s Eve celebration. This is where DJ Slippe and DJ Decipha will be spinning tunes, followed by a balloon drop at midnight.
This party will also feature a silent auction, appetizers and a champagne toast. Tickets to this gathering, which starts at 9 pm, are $50 to $60 each. You can buy them here.
El Hefe Scottsdale
If you’re heading down to Old Town on New Year’s Eve, El Hefe is the place to be. As you’ll see once you show up, the color of the night is going to be gold, so be prepared for everything to shine. Like many other New Year’s Eve events, there will be a DJ, a countdown to midnight and then a confetti blast
Tickets to this event will be $20 each, or $40 for VIP treatment, which means you get in instantly and get a free drink. You can buy tickets online here.
Hotel Valley Ho
This Scottsdale hotel has two events going on this Saturday. The first one is a New Year’s Eve three-course dinner at ZuZu. You can choose to eat at 5:30 pm for $75 each or 8:00 pm for $95 each. Either way, you get a free champagne toast on the roof at midnight.
If you end up hanging out at the Hotel Valley Ho that late, you might as well head to the Confetti Ball in the SoHo Ballroom. For four hours, you’ll be treated to a reception with appetizers, music from the DJ, and a champagne toast and confetti drop at midnight. You can buy your tickets here.
