Valentine’s Day has come and gone for another year, but it’s still American Heart Month until the end of February. So what would you do if someone near you suddenly collapsed? Why not put a life-saving technique under your belt and be prepared for anything life throws at you. The Scottsdale Fire Department is offering free training of a new methodology: hands-only CPR.
It only takes 90 minutes out of your very busy life to learn this technique that could save someone’s life. And that someone could even be an immediate family member or someone you love very dearly.
We all know the first thing to do if someone were to collapse is dial 9-1-1, but then what? To find out, sign up for the February 28th training at the Public Safety Headquarters at 8401 E. Indian School Road in Scottsdale. You can also schedule this course for your civic group or business group. If you can’t make this month’s training, you can still sign up for future notifications.
