If you’re like many people buying a home in DC Ranch this spring, you’ll be glad to know that the community’s convenient location makes it easy to get out and explore – and some of Arizona’s finest attractions are just a short drive away. That includes Bearizona, one of the most popular wildlife attractions in the state.
What is Bearizona?
Bearizona is a wildlife park spanning about 160 acres in Williams, which is about 180 miles from DC Ranch. Guests can drive through more than three miles of pine forest to view North American animals in their natural habitats. Many of the bears living in the park have been rescued from wildfires, which displaced them, as well as other unfortunate circumstances (such as orphaned cubs) brought there by Arizona Fish and Game, though some of the bears were born in the park.
