On Monday, July 21, “Burger 21“, a beyond-gourmet burger restaurant, opened in Scottsdale. Burger 21 is located at Scottsdale Road and Indian Bend, just 15 minutes away from DC Ranch. This means another 75 new jobs for Scottsdale.

Burger 21 gets its name from the menu. There are 10 beef burgers, 10 non-beef (chicken, turkey, veggie, seafood) and a featured burger each month.
The menu also includes salads, hot dogs, fries, a sauce bar and signature shakes including the Bananas Foster and Key Lime. Yummy!
Burger 21 is a franchise-concept by Tampa-based Front Burner Brands, owner of The Melting Pot restaurants. Burger 21’s mission in the $65B burger industry is to have a fast-casual, beyond-the-better-burger restaurant with high quality ingredients, yet without the gourmet-driven price tag.
Like its parent company, Burger 21 actively supports the local community. On the 21st of every month, the restaurant gives 10% of proceeds to local charities. Another cool thing about Burger 21 are its “B-isms” which guide their culture: B-different, B-involved, B-shaken, B-here, and many “B-others”.
They certainly know how to “B-creative” when it comes to marketing. The first 100 guests at their opening received a free Burger 21 B-awesome t-shirt and were entered to win a free tailgate grill. And, “B-cause” the opening was on July 21st, 10% of all proceeds went to the 100 Club of Arizona.
