Kale and Clover just opened their doors at the corner of Hayden and Thompson Peak Parkway, and they pride themselves on serving up food that includes no sugar, no GMO’s, no microwaves, and no cans. They specialize in fast (but clean, high quality) eat-in entrees and grab-and-go dishes. In addition to that, they have a cold-pressed juice bar and a coffee bar with their own special blends.
At first glance, the thought of not using sugar might make one suspect about the taste, but if you hadn’t been told we can guarantee that you wouldn’t know the difference. The chef has designed some incredible dishes with natural sweeteners to appease that sweet tooth in all of us.
The salads will impress you with large portions and all organic produce, when possible. If organic isn’t available they use responsibly-sourced local items in lieu.
There is also a large variety of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free selections. You may be thinking, “bland but nutritious” … but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
There are culinary delights for everyone’s palette. So whether you get your protein from plants, seeds or meats, they’ve got you covered. Not only can you add fish, chicken or red meat to a variety of menu items, they even ask your preference for temperature when cooking! Where can you find that when ordering on the go?
