Give your prehistoric hunting skills a shot at Pueblo Grande Museum on Saturday, June 1. Primitive skills group S.A.L.T. (Study of Ancient Lifeways and Technologies) is holding an atlatl demonstration from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

SMoCA Summer Opening Party (June 7)

Celebrate the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art’s 20th anniversary at the SMoCA Summer Opening Party, which starts at 7 p.m. and runs to 9 p.m.

Arizona Roundup (June 8 and 9)

Check out more than 50 remarkable kaleidoscopes from a private collection, make your own kaleidoscopes and talk to artists from all over the world. The expo showroom is open to the public on both days – on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Arizona State Arm Wrestling Championship (June 21 and 22)

Chef Marcellino Cooking Class (June 22)

Meet Chef Marcellino of Marcellino Ristorante and learn how to cook pasta alla checcha during this intimate cooking class.
