If you’re like many people buying or selling a home right now, you’re concerned about coronavirus and the disease it causes – COVID-19. And you’re right to be concerned; it’s a dangerous illness and we don’t have too many ways to prevent it other than staying home. But a good REALTOR® will take special steps to keep his or her clients safe.
That’s what we’re doing. And here’s how.
How We’re Keeping Our Scottsdale Real Estate Clients Safe
First things first: Our clients are always our top priority. If we didn’t truly believe that, we wouldn’t be some of the most sought-after REALTORS in Scottsdale and beyond. We want you to stay safe, and we want to be there to help you buy or sell a home – and we certainly understand that circumstances don’t always allow you to put your whole life on hold.
We’re taking the following steps to ensure our clients are safe buying and selling homes in DC Ranch and every other community in Scottsdale:
- Offering virtual tours and walk-throughs
- Maintaining safe social distancing at work and within the community
- Ensuring we’re always available by phone (including text messages) and by email for all of our clients and prospective clients
- Limiting the number of people permitted at in-person showings
- Digitally handling real estate documents
- Offering and facilitating virtual meetings between people who need them
Again, your safety is our top priority, and we’re doing everything we can to protect our clients while still providing the essential services they need.
In addition to those measures, we’re also shifting our marketing strategies to help buyers find the right homes despite the pandemic. For example, we’re heavily marketing properties we have listed on the internet, providing 3-D interactive property scans, conducting walk-throughs while live streaming to interested buyers, and showcasing properties through all the mediums that buyers frequent.
Is Real Estate an Essential Service?
Under Governor Doug Ducey’s current coronavirus guidance, real estate agents, title companies, financial institutions, legal services and insurance services are considered essential businesses. That’s likely because there are always going to be circumstances that arise that require people to buy and sell homes – and although the virus is still on the upswing in the U.S. and in Arizona, we all understand that sometimes we don’t have control over every situation.
