Carefree’s Christmas Festival has become a holiday tradition and one of our favorite events of the festival is the Dog Parade hosted by Foothills Animal Rescue. The parade takes place from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Sunday, December 14th (registration is at 9:00am).

This is the 4th consecutive year of the Foothills Animal Rescue Dog Parade and it is one of the final events of the weekend long festival.
The parade is FREE and open to all dog lovers and everyone who loves a parade. Bring your dog(s) to march alongside of you, in costume or not, and they will march with the mascots and volunteers from the animal rescue.
After the parade, you and your pooches can get a professional photo taken with “Jolly Old St. Nick'” himself for a $20 donation to the rescue. The 5 X 7 photos will be made on-site for you to take home with you that day!
Get your marching shoes on, bring your dogs, get a great Christmas photo to share with friends, and join us in supporting Foothills Animal Rescue.
Foothills Animal Rescue is located less than a mile from DC Ranch, on the west side of Pima Road, just south of Pinnacle Peak Road.
