If you have been eagerly waiting the Desert Camp Community Center’s locker room remodel to be done, you’ll be glad to know it’s now complete. That means the locker rooms have been renovated and there is even a new family restroom! Considering the number of DC Ranch events and activities that take place at the Desert Camp Community Center, these additions were much needed and will be appreciated by many residents.
The new family restroom is perfect for residents who go to the community center with their young children. It has an area for family members of all ages to change their clothes or take a shower after using the pool or other facilities at the community center. You can easily access the family restroom from the center’s upper patio.
This project also involved renovations to the men’s and women’s locker rooms at the Desert Camp Community Center. Both of the locker rooms now have new countertops, tile floors, mirrors, lockers, and paint.
The renovation began in January and was completed in March. During that time, residents had limited access to the center’s restrooms, but the many activities that take place there continued. For example, TGIF for kids, Passport to Art, and DC Ranch Women’s Club Coffee and Cookies were among the fun February events that took place at the Desert Camp Community Center during the exciting changes.
If you haven’t checked out the Desert Camp Community Center lately, now is the perfect time to visit. It’s full of features that you can enjoy as a DC Ranch resident, including a playground, lighted tennis courts, a pickleball court, a basketball court, and a fitness room. There’s also a heated recreational pool and a lap pool.
The locker rooms are open from 5 am-10 pm every day, while the pool is open from 6 am-10 pm. Head down to the Desert Camp Community Center and check out the changes today!
