It’s September, which is an exciting month for a few reasons. Not only will temperatures start dropping soon, but you can also start buying everything in pumpkin flavor. And to top it all off, there are several DC Ranch community events for adults ages 21 and over!
That’s right, kids aren’t the only residents who get to attend fun DC Ranch community events in September. Check out these adult-friendly events happening at DC Ranch’s own Desert Camp Community Center.
Creative Art Workshop
If you’re 21 or older and skilled at art – or just want to try your hand at something new – check out the Creative Art Workshop on Tuesday, September 13 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Desert Camp Community Center.
During this workshop, instructor Carrie Curran will guide you as you paint a picture that has an Arizona theme. Everything you need will be provided, including wine and appetizers, so all you need to do is register for the workshop and pay the $30 fee.
Grapenuts
If you’re a fan of trying new wines, you’ll love the events put on by Grapenuts, which is a community wine appreciation group with monthly wine tasting events. When you show up to these DC Ranch community events, you can expect to not only try wines, but also learn a little about each one you taste. Plus, this is a chance to meet fellow DC Ranch residents who have a common interest.
September’s Grapenuts meeting will focus on wines crafted by celebrities, since many musicians and actors have made their own wine. This event will take place on Wednesday, September 14, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Desert Camp Community Center. Registration is free. Just bring a bottle of celebrity wine and a fun food pairing to share with the group!
Night Waves
Night Waves is an adult-only pool party put on by OHSO Brewery & Distillery at the Desert Camp Community Center pool. When you pay $10, you get two drinks – including wine, beer, or a mixed drink – that you can enjoy while listening to music, playing games by the pool, swimming, and socializing.
This DC Ranch event went swimmingly well in July and August, and now is your chance to attend the last one of the season. Just register online and then show up at the pool on Friday, September 16 at 7:00 pm.
