DC Ranch residents who are looking to stay cool this summer can join in the fun at one of four very affordable Scottsdale Aquatic Centers. And, tomorrow for July 4th, the centers have special events planned for the whole family.
The 4 aquatic centers in Scottsdale are:
- Cactus Aquatic and Fitness Center
- Chaparral Aquatic Center
- Eldorado Aquatic and Fitness Center
- McDowell Mountain Ranch Aquatic Center
The closest aquatic center to DC Ranch is the McDowell Mountain Ranch Aquatic Center. It’s the most equipped park and fitness center in Scottsdale’s park system! The daily public swim fee at McDowell Mountain Ranch is $6 for adults and $4 for children.

On Friday, July 4th, all 4 of the Scottsdale Aquatic Centers will be open from 1:00 – 5:00 pm. Three of the centers – Chaparral, Eldorado and McDowell Mountain Ranch – are also hosting poolside family picnics with food vendors and entertainment. The cost is the same as for public swim; food is an additional cost.
At the McDowell Mountain Ranch Aquatic and Fitness Center, you and your family can also enjoy the 600 foot Lazy River, a large tube water slide, the skate park and ball fields.
