Christmas is just a few weeks away and for the fifth year in a row The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort, located just 2 miles from DC Ranch, has an assortment of holiday events going on to get you and your family in the holiday mood. Christmas at the Princess festival runs November 20 through January 4, 2015.

The tree lighting of the 4-story christmas tree with over 67,000 lights took place last Friday evening. Lights were lit for the nightly 3-D light-show and the 6,000 square foot ice arena is open too.
You and the kids can take train rides around the lakes, listen to christmas carolers, have portraits made with Santa, listen to holiday stories in the garden and take part in a host of special activities.
Every Wednesday evening from 6:30 – 8:00, Howler, the Arizona Coyotes mascot, takes to the ice visiting with skaters and other festival guests. On December 9th, 16th and 20th, the Coyotes Skating Club and the US Figure Skating Association are hosting a holiday ice show performed by skaters from the Ice Den’s troop.
The activities begin daily at 5:00 pm. Bring your family out to have a bite to eat and pick up your live Christmas tree. There is a complimentary home delivery service for your tree if you are a festival guest.
The festival is open and free for resort guests. Non-guests pay a $30 per car admission.
