Child Crisis Arizona
Child Crisis Arizona’s wish list is full of clothing, sports-related items and more. Everything community members donate to the organization is used for its emergency children’s center for abused and neglected kids up to the age of 10. They help children who have been abandoned, are homeless, or have an incarcerated parent, as well as foster children. The center provides early education services and counseling.

House of Refuge
House of Refuge is an emergency shelter for homeless families. Staffed by professionals, House of Refuge works with people who need employment, are looking for permanent housing, or are healing from trauma. The donation center accepts gently used clothing, furniture and household items, and non-perishable food items.
Drop off donations at 6858 East Ursula Avenue in Mesa or call 480-988-9395 to schedule a pickup.
Military Order of the Purple Heart
The Military Order of the Purple Heart supports veterans and their families all over the United States – and they accept clothing, toys, household appliances and items, and more. You can choose to drop off items on your own or schedule a pickup through Operation Green Drop.

Hope’s Closet
Hope’s Closet, which is located in Goodyear, is owned by New Life Center. It’s a thrift store where the public can shop, but every adult and child seeking refuge at New Life Center’s emergency shelter has access to all the items inside (without having to pay for them). When people who aren’t staying at the shelter shop there, all proceeds go directly to the shelter. New Life Center and Hope’s Closet accept clothing, appliances and household items, electronics, books and sports equipment.
Justa Center
The Justa Center is for homeless senior citizens and operates an emergency day center, as well as a program for housing transition assistance. Justa Center accepts clothing, furniture, household items, cleaning supplies, luggage and kitchen items. Both the day center and housing assistance programs need donations.
