It’s the time of year for community wild flower spotting! Every March and April, residents from all over Arizona partake in this annual event. We track the wildflowers through social media as they begin to bloom in their bold majestic colors of purple, yellow, red, pink and white.

Being a wild flower sleuth is easy, you just shoot and upload! But if you want it spelled out for you, it’s just four easy steps!
- Locate the wildflowers
- Take a pic
- Upload to your favorite social media site (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest or Instagram)
- Use the tag #dbgwildflowers
The Desert Botanicals Gardens in collaboration with Arizona Parks and Gardens load the pics to Pinterest so the entire community can click on the individual pics for a close-up look.
Don’t forget the hashtag — #dbgwildflowers — when posting, or we won’t get to see your stunning photography skills!
