67th Annual Parada del Sol Parade (February 8)

The 67th Annual Parada del Sol Parade and Trail’s End Festival is always a fabulous time – and organizers are expecting this year to be the best yet. This is one of the world’s longest horse-drawn parades, and you’ll see more than 100 entries ranging from individual riders to bands and beautifully designed floats. The parade begins at 10 a.m. at the intersection of Drinkwater Boulevard and Scottsdale Road; it then heads south and finishes at Brown Avenue and Indian School Road.

Just after the parade, the Trail’s End Festival starts in Old Town. As one of the year’s most-anticipated block parties, the Trail’s End Festival is fun for all ages. You’ll hear live music, sample delectable food and enjoy plenty of entertainment. There’s even a kids’ area with games, pony rides and other attractions.
