If you’re looking for some fun fall events to attend without going too far from your DC Ranch home, you’ll be glad to see that Scottsdale has a lot planned for local residents. As October comes to a close, be sure to check out at least one of these Halloween events with your family so you can get into the spirit a few days before October 31.
Halloween
MacDonald’s Ranch Annual Pumpkin Festival– October 1-31
MacDonald’s Ranch – about 15 minutes north of the DC Ranch community – features a fall festival for the entire month. Not only is there a pumpkin patch, but there are also hayrides, a petting zoo, train rides, games, and more. Check out the website for the schedule and admission prices.
Salt River Fields Balloon Spooktacular – October 28 and 29
On Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, local families will be celebrating Halloween at Talking Stick’s Salt River Fields. During this Scottsdale Halloween event you can marvel at more than 20 hot air balloons, listen to live music, buy food and drinks, do some trick or treating, visit a haunted house, or even get a ride on a tethered hot air balloon. Scottsdale’s Fall Festival – October 29
If you’re looking for an outdoor festival where you can celebrate fall and Halloween in one place, Eldorado Park – about a half hour south of DC Ranch – is the place to be. On Saturday, October 29 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, you and your family can enjoy 25 games, at least 10 bounce houses, trick or treating, fireworks, and more.
