4 reasons to stay in Scottsdale on New Year’s Eve

If you’re looking for something fun to do on New Year’s Eve, you won’t have to travel far from your Scottsdale home. Several local hotels and resorts are hosting everything from elegant dinners to fun concerts!

Here’s a sampling of what’s going on in Scottsdale on New Year’s Eve:

Talking Stick Resort

This is one of the most popular attractions in Scottsdale, and when you attend this New Year’s Eve event, you’ll see why. This year, the resort is hosting various musical acts, including DJ Diverse, Led ZepAgain, DJ Tranzit, Bonfire, and Boogie Knights. You can get the party package – which includes six drinks – for $125, or the dinner package with an all-you-can-eat buffet for $150. The event starts at 7 pm on New Year’s Eve, and you can buy your tickets today.

Saguaro Scottsdale Hotel

This is another Scottsdale hotel that will help you ring in the New Year right. When you head to the Saguaro Scottsdale Hotel at 9 pm on NYE, you can attend a 3-hour party filled with tantalizing gourmet appetizers, live casino games, a silent auction, great music, video countdown, and of course lots of champagne for midnight toasts. Tickets are $125 when you buy in advance.

Casino Arizona

If you’re an 80s music fan, you’ll want to check out Casino Arizona on New Year’s Eve. That’s where tribute band Loveshack will play all your favorite pop hits from the 80s, with songs by Madonna, Prince, Billy Idol, and many other 80s superstars. This Scottsdale New Year’s Eve event includes a buffet dinner and champagne at midnight. If you plan to dine there, the event costs $95 per person and starts at 6 pm. If you’re just interested in the live music, tickets cost $65 per person and the doors open at 8:30 pm. You can buy your tickets here.

Hotel Valley Ho

If you’re looking for a delicious dinner before going out dancing, go to ZuZu in Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale on New Year’s Eve. You’ll enjoy a four-course dinner that features Maine lobster agnolotti, herb roasted wagyu beef striploin, and more. After dinner, you can enjoy the tunes played by DJ Mr. P-Body starting at 8 pm, and then you can head to the rooftop for a champagne toast at midnight. Go here to reserve your spot for dinner at either 6:30 or 9:30 pm.

Where will you be on New Year’s Eve? No matter where you end up, The Matheson Team would like to wish you a safe and happy New Year!
